Rebecca Malope: Known as the
Queen of Gospel, Rebecca
recorded her first album ten years
ago and is now South Africa’s
biggest selling local artist. She
has released 32 albums in a music
career spanning more than twenty
years and currently hosts the TV
show ‘It’s Gospel Time’. In 2003
Rebecca received the award for
Best Gospel Singer at the KORA All
African Music Awards. She is said
to be former President Nelson
Mandela’s favourite singer.
